Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the storefronts operated by V.I. Consignment, including Honey Willow Consignment, Modern Maven Consignment, and Offboarded (collectively, the "Sites"). By browsing, creating an account on, or purchasing from any of the Sites, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites.

You may need to create an account to check out, track orders, or consign items. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes. Payment is processed securely by Square. By placing an order, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or unavailable inventory (consignment items are one-of-a-kind and availability is not guaranteed until checkout is complete).

If you consign items with us, the specific terms of your consignment (including commission percentage, pricing, and payout schedule) are set out at intake and in our Policies page. We reserve the right to determine pricing, presentation, and marketing of consigned items at our discretion, in the consignor's best interest.

Because our inventory consists of secondhand, one-of-a-kind consignment items, all sales are final. We carefully inspect and photograph each item so you know what you're getting before you buy. If an item arrives materially different from its listing or damaged in transit, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will work with you on a resolution. All original content on the Sites — including our logos, site design, original product photography, and written descriptions — is owned by V.I. Consignment or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute this content without our prior written consent.

Many items we sell are secondhand goods originally manufactured by third-party brands. Any such brand names, logos, and trademarks appearing on product photos or in item descriptions are the property of their respective owners. V.I. Consignment is an independent resale marketplace and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by these brands unless explicitly stated.

You agree not to:

• Use the Sites for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account
• Interfere with or disrupt the Sites, including through automated scraping that degrades service
• Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information

The Sites and all content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Sites will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, V.I. Consignment shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Sites or purchase of any item. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the item(s) giving rise to the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in British Columbia, Canada.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, with an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Sites after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
