Our entire business model is built around giving pre-loved clothing, accessories, and goods a second life. Every item listed on Honey Willow Consignment, Modern Maven Consignment, and Offboarded is secondhand — extending the useful life of an existing product instead of manufacturing something new. That's the most direct way we reduce textile waste and the environmental footprint of fashion.

• Textiles diverted from landfill by keeping quality secondhand items in circulation
• Reduced demand for new manufacturing, and the water, energy, and raw materials it requires
• Local consignors earn income from items they no longer need instead of discarding them

Where possible, we reuse shipping boxes and packaging materials from our own inbound consignment shipments, and we favour recyclable or reusable materials when we do need to buy new packaging. Our flat-rate, Canada-wide shipping is designed to consolidate orders and minimize the number of individual shipments.

We offer local pickup and low-cost local delivery across the Cowichan Valley and Vancouver Island (Nanaimo to Saanich), reducing the carbon footprint of last-mile delivery compared to shipping every order individually. We also encourage in-person drop-off and pickup for consignors in our local area.
